We are thrilled to announce that the contest for the 2024 All Ohio Excellence in Journalism Awards, presented by The Press Club of Cleveland, is set to open on Wednesday, Feb. 7.

We are hard at work streamlining the contest to better reflect the evolving media landscape. Look for exciting new categories and contest divisions. Please know many of your favorite categories will remain, and, of course, the highly coveted "Best of Ohio" honors will be up for grabs once again.

Our goal is to simplify the application process, respecting your valuable time.

Key 2024 dates to remember:

• Contest opens: Wednesday, Feb. 7
• Submission deadline: Wednesday, March 13
• Awards ceremony: Friday, June 7
