The
Press Club of Cleveland and John Carroll University's Tim Russert
Department of Communication are proud to host "An Evening with Pete
Williams" at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4, at JCU’s Dolan Center in
University Heights. The event will be moderated by Russ Mitchell,
evening anchor and managing editor of WKYC 3News, the NBC affiliated
television station in Cleveland.
Earlier
this year, Williams joined John Carroll University as a journalism
professor in residence. He was previously with NBC News for 30 years as a
correspondent.
The
Press Club program will include a conversation with Williams and
Mitchell about covering national and international news, politics and
more. The audience will also be able to ask questions.
This
event is supported by The Press Club of Cleveland, John Carroll
University’s College of Arts and Sciences, JCU’s Political Science
Department, and the Society of Professional Journalists student chapter
at JCU.
