Wall Street Journal (WSJ) manufacturing reporter James R. (Bob) Hagerty will speak at the September 25 Business and the Media luncheon program on the subject "We're Not Dead Yet:  The Remaking of the Media and the Prospects for a Revival in U.S. Manufacturing."   

 

Hagerty will discuss how  the WSJ and its affiliated organizations such as the Dow Jones news service cover today's business and manufacturing news.  He'll explain what kind of stories he and other writers and editors are looking for.  Hagerty also will offer his views on the current state of manufacturing in the U.S. and Midwest.
