Notable Obituaries
Paul Cox passed
away on February 17, 2024. Paul was born in Garden City, Michigan, on
August 17, 1950. He graduated from Eastern Michigan University and
worked in the local radio and TV media. Paul started his professional
career as a radio host in Findlay, OH, then onto WKYC, Cleveland, and
produced for WVIZ PBS; to include "Faegler and Friends".
Steve Talbot passed away on February 19. 2024. Steve was
a consummate journalist, a graduate of Columbia University, Graduate
School of Journalism, and a regional and national winner of journalism
prizes, including the National Press Club's grand prize for consumer
journalism. He was a reporter and business editor for The Plain Dealer
for 27 years. After retirement from the PD, he was an adjunct professor
of journalism at Cleveland State University and wrote a book on
financing college.
