LOOKING FOR NEXT GENERATION OF CLUB LEADERSHIP

The Press Club of Cleveland is seeking nominations to its Board of Directors. Board members serve a two-year term, and are expected to attend monthly meetings, join working committees, and participate in club events. 

We welcome nominations from club members who are journalists, communications professionals, and others who are committed to supporting the local press corps through programming and advocacy. Board members serve two-year terms; elections are held at the annual meeting in December. 

The Press Club Nominating Committee is looking for passionate and enthusiastic doers who will participate actively in leading the club. 

The nomination process involves filling out a form and having a conversation with one or more members of the nominating committee. If interested, contact Bob Rosenbaum, chair of the nominating committee, at 216-401-9342 / bob.r@themarketfarm.com.

The senior manager/partnerships will develop and sustain a system of partnerships with organizations that can contribute content and other value to the journalistic mission of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The partnerships initiative will: Create mutually beneficial relationships with organizations that provide specialty coverage the AJC does not, offering those organizations opportunities to build audience through the AJC’s distribution network, while building audience and loyalty for The AJC.

Cleveland Jewish News Seeks Paid Fall Interns
The Cleveland Jewish News is seeking candidates for the Clifford and Linda Wolf Editorial Internship. The paid internship will be for between 25-30 hours per week for 10 weeks in the fall.

Interns will gain on-the-ground journalism experience in the fast-paced, professional newsroom environment of the CJN, which has been named the best community weekly in Ohio four of the last five years, including 2020. Interns will be involved in all facets of the news gathering process including but not limited to assisting reporters with research, verification, securing and speaking with sources, proofreading, copy editing, etc. Editorial interns will have an opportunity to pitch and write stories for all CJN platforms and publications, including all digital, social and magazine properties as well as the Columbus Jewish News, our sister publication.

Clifford and Linda Wolf Editorial interns will learn about all facets of the Cleveland Jewish community, gaining new appreciation and insights into the people, congregations, agencies and organizations that comprise our vibrant community.

At the conclusion of the internship, it is expected that the intern will have a robust portfolio of published and accomplished work.
