Hall of Fame is calling for nominations for  

The Hall of Fame Class of 2015  

and The Chuck Heaton Award

Tuesday, June 2, 2015

Nominations will be accepted from Press Club of Cleveland members in good standing. All finalists will be chosen by The Press Club of Cleveland Journalism Hall of Fame Committee and approved by The Press Club Board of Directors.

Who is eligible for induction in the Hall of Fame?

Nominees must have:

• Made notable contributions to journalism in Cleveland and northeast Ohio.
• Demonstrated exceptional leadership, courage or contributions to the news industry.
• Worked in the Cleveland/Northeast Ohio or had an exceptional career here before going elsewhere.

The Chuck Heaton Award is given to a journalist who exemplifies the sensitivity, humility and journalistic talents which were traits exhibited by the late Plain Dealer reporter. A nominee's contributions to the community will weigh heavily in consideration for this award. Please note: nominations for this award are not limited to sports journalists, but open to all journalists.

How to submit a Hall of Fame or Heaton Award nomination:

Please provide:

• The nominee's name and title / affiliation
• Your name, email address and phone number
• A brief statement (300 words maximum) as to why the individual is worthy of recognition. Feel free to include biographical attachments or web links.
